Joachim Muth studied law at Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg and at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz as well as at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer before being admitted to the Karlsruhe Bar in 2004. A focus of his training was collective labor law as well as individual labor law, which continue to be evident in his activities as a lawyer to this day. Currently he is working towards fulfilling the formal requirements to use the title of a specialist solicitor for labor law (“Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht”).
Rechtsanwalt Muth further is active in the fields of tenancy law, residential property law, and brokerage law. As counsel of the Tenants Association Karlsruhe (“Mieterverein Karlsruhe e.V.”) alone he has worked on several thousand law cases since 2004. He is a specialist solicitor for tenancy and residential property law (“Fachanwalt für Miet- und Wohnungseigentumsrecht”) and author of several widely received articles that were published in the specialist journal “Zeitschrift für Miet- und Raumrecht (ZMR).”
Another of Rechtsanwalt Muth’s focuses lies on criminal law. In numerous investigations and criminal trials he has proven his experience and tactical skill as a criminal defense lawyer. Since 2010 he is a visiting lecturer at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Karlsruhe. Joachim Muth is an avid reader and athlete. After his time as an active handball player he participated in numerous competitive marathons and triathlons with great success. Unfortunately, the necessary time for training is becoming harder and harder to find.
